The Help Desk of the Directorate of Distance Education has been set up to provide assistance to Students and Learning Centers as a single point of contact to resolve their queries. Helpdesk is located at the University’s Directorate of Distance Education at Manipal (Karnataka State).

Mode of assistance provided:

I. IVR Facility :

Interactive Voice Response, or IVR, is a phone technology that allows a computer to detect voice and touch tones using a normal phone call. IVR systems are typically used to service high call volumes, reduce cost and improve the customer experience.

Using SMU-DDE IVR facility, Students and Learning centers can avail information related to:

  1. Courses offered and Fee details.
  2. Status of Fresh Admission (Registration).
  3. Re-registration, Re-sitting, and Re-admission details.
  4. Examination details like Time-Table, Admit Card, Results, Mark Card status, and Certificate status as well as procedure to apply.

Apart from the above mentioned facilities, students can record their feed back and suggestions for further improvisation of this facility.
